This policy explains what information GunOptics.co ("we," "this site") collects when you visit, and what happens to it. Short version: we run a static informational website, we don't require accounts, and we don't sell personal data.
Information we collect
- Server logs. Like nearly every website, our web server records standard technical data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page, and timestamps. We use this to keep the site running and to understand aggregate traffic. Logs are rotated and are not used to identify individuals.
- Contact form. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you choose to send. We use it only to respond to you.
Cookies and affiliate tracking
GunOptics.co itself does not set tracking cookies. However, when you click an affiliate link to a retailer such as Ammunition Depot (via Commission Junction) or eBay (via the eBay Partner Network), that retailer or network may set cookies in your browser to attribute any purchase to this site. Those cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective companies:

Third-party fonts
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google. See Google's privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We disclose information only if required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we hold almost none, the practical scope is small — but you can exercise any such right by contacting us.
Children
This site is intended for adults of legal age to purchase the products discussed. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
